As published at Stockholm Konst website:
“Makroskop / Mikroskap (2026) is a site-specific work designed for Vällingbyskolan. Three interconnected series explore how we perceive the world at different scales. In the large dining room, a monumental, photographic composition unfolds – shapes that can be perceived as planets, rocks or molecules. In the smaller dining room, we encounter landscape-like images that move between the microscopic and the topographical. In the corridor, sculptures are displayed that function as models for the images. By leaving the scale unclear and the shapes reflecting each other, the work explores relationships, movement and change. Here, the viewer is encouraged to shift perspectives and discover that the same motif can accommodate multiple interpretations – a reminder of the value of seeing the world from different angles.”
